Not happy with your smile?
The reality is, almost nobody has a perfect white, straight smile. Even healthy teeth can get chipped, look stained or be crooked. So for most people, the ideal smile takes some work to achieve.
If you want to improve the color of your teeth you may want to consider teeth whitening, sometimes also called teeth bleaching. Whitening your teeth can improve your confidence drastically! Not having white teeth isn’t always your fault. There are many reasons someone’s teeth can over time lose their whiteness such as eating certain foods, drinking certain beverages, smoking, etc.
Do you want to have those pearly whites and never hide your teeth again? Your smile can be the first thing people notice about you so let’s make it the best it can be! Let me help you have the brightest smile in the room.

Frequently Asked Questions — Teeth Whitening
How many shades whiter can I expect?
Results vary depending on your natural tooth color and existing staining level. Clients using our 16% gentle formula can expect 2–6 shades whiter—perfect for sensitive teeth with beautiful, natural-looking results. Clients using our 26% maximum strength formula can expect a dramatic 8–12 shades whiter. Either way you will leave with a noticeably brighter, more radiant smile.
What makes Bello Cara’s teeth whitening different?
Unlike generic spa or salon whitening, our service is performed by a licensed dental hygienist with 22 years of professional experience. You receive professional grade whitening solution in a safe, knowledgeable environment — at a fraction of what you would pay at a dental office.
What are the two whitening options?
We offer two professional strength solutions. The 25% is our strongest formula for maximum whitening results. The 16% is a gentler option designed for clients with more sensitive teeth. When booking please select the option that best suits your sensitivity level and whitening goals.
How long does the appointment take?
Plan to spend approximately 90 minutes. Your session includes 4 intervals of 20 minutes under a professional whitening light with a short break between each interval to check your comfort and color progress.
How many sessions will I need?
Many clients achieve their desired results in a single session. However clients with deeper or more stubborn staining may benefit from additional sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
How long do results last?
Results vary depending on your lifestyle and diet. Most clients enjoy their results for 6–12 months. Avoiding heavily pigmented foods and beverages and scheduling periodic touch-up sessions will help maintain your brightest smile.
Is teeth whitening painful?
Most clients experience little to no discomfort. Clients with naturally sensitive teeth may experience mild sensitivity during or after treatment — this is why we offer the 16% gentler formula. Sensitivity typically resolves within 24–48 hours.
Will whitening work on crowns, veneers, or bonding?
No. Whitening solution only works on natural tooth enamel. If you have crowns, veneers, or bonding on your front teeth they will not change color with whitening treatment. We recommend discussing this with your dentist before booking.
What should I avoid before my appointment?
- Avoid heavily pigmented foods and beverages such as coffee, tea, and red wine immediately before your appointment
- Brush your teeth before arriving but do not use a whitening toothpaste on the day of your appointment
- Let us know at the time of booking if you have any current dental concerns or sensitivity so we can recommend the right solution strength for you
What should I avoid after my appointment?
For the best and longest lasting results in the 24–48 hours following your treatment avoid:
- Coffee, tea, red wine, and dark sodas
- Tomato sauce, soy sauce, and dark condiments
- Berries and heavily pigmented foods
- Smoking or tobacco products
How often can I get teeth whitening?
We recommend spacing sessions at least 4–6 weeks apart to allow your enamel to fully recover and maintain optimal dental health.
Is professional whitening safe?
Absolutely. Our whitening service is performed by a licensed dental hygienist with over two decades of experience. Your safety, comfort, and smile health are always our top priority.
Tooth Gem
A tooth gem is a small rhinestone jewel that is attached to the surface of a tooth using an adhesive. Some are small stones in the center of the tooth, other times people elect to place a jewel-encrusted cap over their teeth. Tooth gems typically last a minimum of 6 months. Tooth gems are exactly what they sound like: tiny jewels, usually just a few millimeters in size, applied to the tooth with an adhesive. The gems are temporary — there’s no drilling involved.
